Avensis![]() New Price Range £14,042 - £23,297 | Aiming for class-leading quality (and perhaps putting into practice some of the things Toyota has learned with its luxury brand, Lexus) the Avensis represents a major leap forward over the original. The interior feels up-market and the Avensis is comfortable drive. The diesel offering was restricted to one 114bhp engine until summer 2005, although three became available, ranging from 124bhp to 175bhp, from summer 2006. The Avensis scores highly for comfort and should prove to be exceptionally reliable, but does not offer such an engaging drive as the Ford Mondeo, Mazda6 or Peugeot 407. | Used Avensis Used Avensis for sale all locations

Carolla |

![]() New Price Range £11,339 - £14,107 | Have you noticed how none of those clever TV ads for the Corolla feature the saloon. Small saloons don't sell well in the UK. Especially when they're as ugly as this one. The runt of an otherwise great littler; a superb car till you go round the back. Toyota UK know this and only bring in a small model range for the booty diehards. However, the ride and handling are tuned for European tastes and hopefully, it'll be as long lasting as previous Corollas. | Used Carolla Used Carolla for sale all locations

Yaris |

|---|---|---|
![]() New Price Range £13,075 - £13,575 | The sportiest version of the original Toyota Yaris was the T Sport, which was launched in 2001. However, Toyota seems to have given up on the T Sport name across its range. But it continues to launch high-performance models and the fastest version of the second-generation Yaris is the 1.8 SR. It uses a new 131bhp engine, rides on enormous 17-inch alloy wheels, has lowered suspension and uses more conventional analogue instruments. It isn't a rival to the fastest small cars, such as the Renault Clio 197 or the Vauxhall Corsa VXR, instead claiming to offer sporty looks, swift performance and excellent refinement. However, the whole driving experience lacks the involvement of similar priced rivals. The three-door model costs £12,995, while the five-door version is £13,495. | Used Yaris Used Yaris for sale all locations

Celica |
||
|---|---|---|
![]() New Price Range £16,697 - £23,532 | This is the seventh incarnation of the Toyota Celica. It's been around since 1999, but the sharp, aggressive shape still looks fresh, a testament to how good a design it was. This model was never developed with rallying in mind, so there is no four-wheel-drive turbocharged version. But that doesn't make it a wimp. It still manages to deliver a decent driving experience and Toyota's reputation for reliability is a significant draw for most customers. Easy to overlook, with RX-8, Crossfire and 350Z hogging all the recent coupé limelight but Celica is still a nice car. Recent GT model wears a bodykit worthy of The Fast and the Furious. | Used Celica Used Celica for sale all locations
